About Us
Tom Rose Marine Surveying, located in Poole, Dorset, offers specialized marine surveying services for boats up to 24m LOA. We excel in pre-purchase, insurance, tonnage surveys, and sea trials to ensure your vessel's seaworthiness.

Our surveyor has over 15 years experience as Master and Engineer working on sailing and power yachts, mono and multi hull, and multicat workboats and tugs. Extensive sailing around the Mediterranean, Caribbean and Northern Europe and qualified as MCA Master 200, Yachtmaster Instructor Sail and AEC 1&2.

Prices start at £15 per foot for insurance surveys during off season, subject to a minimum daily charge. There is no extra charge for travel expenses for any survey within 40 miles of BH1 post code area. Expenses beyond this are calculated on an individual basis.
